My mother suffering from pampeguis vulgarius,,plz tell me rituximab is cured for this disease

I’m white, 29 yo & thought I was healthy. Worked out 5-6x a week and ate an abundance of fruits / veg. However, I think my protein intake was lacking for how much I worked out. I noticed my NS starting peeking through (3wks ago) after intense workouts. At the time I was also stressed with work, and was planning a trip for me and my best friend to go to Hawaii. I was NOT getting enough sleep as I was prioritizing Game Of Thrones episodes over zzz’s. Sleep around 2 am and get up to work at 7:30. Anyways, scary times but am positive there is a light near. I’m so swollen & the diuretic does not work for me. 🙏🏼

I started my Nephrotic Syndrome journey back in 2003. My biopsy showed Minimal Changed Disease. After 2 years past and my biopsy showed Focal Segmental Glumelorusclerosis and my kidney functions are gone and went on dialysis. After my first transplant Nephrotic Syndrome again with MCD later FSGS lost the kidney and I also lost my second transplant the same way. I am 35M on dialysos for 19 years now. I wish you remain stable.

about to have my 12 th course (13 years) of rituximab,if my infusion is too fast i have similar reactions to yours,also tried truxima a substitute biologic,but reacted a fair bit...despite that most infusions go smoothly and rituximab is a life changer for Rheumatoid

Are you getting cyclosporine on this NHS?

I find it interesting with over peoples side effects because I ALWAYS get ill and I literally can’t walk after I get so weak but some people have no side effects 😅

Hi, great informative video, I've been on Ritux for a couple of years now for inflammatory Arthritis. In my trust i have to get my ritux over 6hrs; all depending on how busy they are getting my pre meds done i can usually leave around 1730 in afternoon after 8:00 am start. Its such a loooong day and while its just sitting down all day it can be really tiring. I dont know about yourself but the only real side effects I get is for around 3 days after I feel a little washed out and under the weather but nothing that isn't managed with rest and a good boxset with chocolate. wishing you well, keep smiling 😊

Hi jasmine I'm on the same position as you I've just relapsed again they are going to start me on cyclosporine..any views on this ? They said they don't want to give me steroids again

@jasminesjourney i was recently diagnosed with Membranous Nephropathy (kidney disease). I'm 46 from Toronto Ontario Canada & have been told that ny kidneys are at about 22% efficiency, & that Rituximab is probably the one thing that can save my life & prevent dialysis. Youre an inspiration to me right now, keep fighting. If I ever get the money to afford this I'll have you to thank you for it. All the best from Canada!

I was given them for ulcerative colitis cos I had a really bad case and I was fine for like two weeks and then suddenly became the most depressed I had ever been and now it’s almost 8 weeks later and I still feel like crap not as bad as I did but mentally not great

I've been taking it due to my severe allergies... Depression kicked in HARD.....I had suicidal thoughts 😢

Hi I am Suganya. My 19-year-old autistic son has had nephrotic syndrome since his childhood (from 2 and a half year old). Last few months he has had two times relapses. He is on lot of streiods. Our nephrologist suggested this rituximab infusion therapy. we have to decide today to fix an appointment for this infusion therapy. we are very afraid how safe it is?. Kindly reply .How safe it is and It is required once a year or how many times a year?. we live in newyork. This treatment works for you. kindly reply to me. As a parent its hard to decide.

I just saw your video .. I still have some pain and tightness in my back and sides around my kidney and it’s been 10 days since my biopsy. How many days did you experience pain after the procedure??

I have been going for Rituximab infusions for 2 years, now 6 months spaced apart. The infusions have worked wonders for me. Your video was really informative for first time patients but I had a little chuckle how you packed for this infusion 😂. I only brought a snack, water and my iPad. Can rituximab is give result in nephrotic syndrome

I had my kidney biopsy this morning.and thanks to your video I felt that I was prepared for what was about to happen.I was amazed how painless it was. They started a IV as soon as I got there then a short time later we went in for the biopsy. And like you said it was over quickly. Thank you for your video it helped me so much

How many days did u take prednisolone in starting period before adding CNI drug do u have SRNS or SSNS
